Hi Guys ! (: finally back from the Shanghai Trip. it had been really enjoyable. totally love it esp my group mates. (:
we had like so much fun visiting the places. esp the Shanghai Expo and the diff pavilions inside them. i esp loved our very own Singapore Pavillion with our little durian star. i bought back some souvenirs for myself and most for family and relatives. youu see. veh short on cash. LOL. ><
my favourite was the performance. impression west lake. or in chinese, 印象西湖. it was such a romantic story.... if only there were no flies there. ==" i loved the 3 hotels we stayed in. they were really comfortable, spacious and up to my standards. lol. (:
we visited each other's rooms, ate cup noodles .... watch tv, talked, did refletion and stayed up late. lol. i didnt want to leave on the 5/6 that night when our flight back to S'pore was due. hais, how i wished i could stay there forever !!!!! i was like totally enjoying myself that i lost track of the days and how many days have alr past, i totally forgotten thatt my S'pore friends were having cca or that i was supposed to have hist remedial.(: it was really heart-wrenching saying goodbye to all the friends i made on the trip. it will be really hard to see each other again back in schl. D; i really hope that there will be a Shanghai Expo presentation or sharing session with the whole schl so we could meet up again. during the trip, i learnt that norman fong, our auntie lucy was really funny and he esp like to sing. he brought loads of joy to our trip. we all really LOVED him. thinking abt that brings back many happy memories. that time we were lining up for the germany pavillion and we were there singing and shouting for all the other ppl queueing up. it was a lil embarassing at first but it was really fun and worth remembering. i made a new friend called SuYi too, and gordon who is from sec 206. also, our tour guide had been really great, attending to our needs. seeing him leave us at the airport was really sadd. we used to call hin Johnny Ku Ah Neh. funny. cuz norman's group was called the NiGu Group or smth. also, the 110 guy, chun huan or han, which we all called bobby was really funny. he kept talking about halo 3 and mini oreo and how to squeeze his butt and stuff liddat, he even talked about the song hayabusa. he was singing and singing till i cant get the tune outta my head !!!!! :D
i really hope all of us can meet up again and i really want to go on another similiar immersion programme. well, that marks the end of my long post !!
